ADAMS CENTER — Mrs. Lola H. Gibbs, 84, widow of Roy T. Gibbs, died 5 a.m. this morning at the home of her son, Donald, at Alfred. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Piddock Funeral Home, Adams, Rev. Floyd Wilder, pastor, First Baptist Church, Adams Center, officiating. Spring burial will be in Smithville Cemetery. She is survived by a son, Donald, of Alfred, two grandchildren and four great grand children. Born at Butterville Dec. 12, 1886, daughter of Franklin and Minnie Greene Holley, she attended local schools and spent all her life in this region. In 1906 she was married to Roy T. Gibbs in Smithville. He died July 3, 1949.
