Jefferson County Journal, Oct. 30 1900. "Clinton D. Ivory has returned from sailing."

In 1900 Blanch was a teacher, born in Jan 1878. Clinton was a commercial salesman.

Parish - At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 24, at the home of the bride, occured the marriage of Blanch Hartle to Mr. Clinton Ivory of Adams

1910 Clinton D. Ivory, his wife Blanch, and his mother-in-law, Mary E. Harter who owns their home, live on Railroad St., Parish, Oswego County NY.

1918 On his draft registration Clinton reports he is a self employed merchant on Main St. in Adams, NY. His residence is on Church Street.

Glorian's obituary states "[after 1936} the couple opened the Ivory Shoe Store in Adams."

Funeral home records are proported to state: DeForest Clinton Ivory, born 13 May 1874 in Smithville, NY. He died 10 Jan 1940 at Adams, NY at age 65. Buried in Evergreen Cemetery. Burial ED 1474. Wife Gloria Collins, Mother Lucy Hunter, father DeWitt Ivory.

Clinton was not even consistent on official documents about the order of his first and middle name. I wrote Clinton first but on other records it is DeForest.
