Clyde Melvin Dennie

Clyde (Melvin) Dennie, 46, 2817 S. High St., died Friday morning in Ball Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Farmland and lived in the Parker City and Muncie areas most of his life.
Mr. Dennie attended schools in Parker City and had worked in Ball Hospital's housekeeping department 15 years.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys May Dennie; three sons, Richard Duke, Allen Duke, and David Duke; a daughter, Connie Duke; a brother, Carl Dennie, all of Muncie; two sisters, Eula (Mrs. Jerry) Swartz, Parker City, and Margie Jones, Indianapolis; and two grandchildren.
A brother preceded him in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel, with Rev. Charles Bertram officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Calling is from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
