Jessie S. C. Clines

Jessie S.C. Clines, 72, 1719 W. 12th, died Thursday in Bay Memorial Medical Center, Panama City, Fla.
Born in Red Stripe, Ark., he came to Muncie in 1948. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 19, Muncie, and a life member of Muncie Coin and Stamp Club.
He retired from Ontario Corp. in 1981.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Davis Clines; three daughters, Gladys May Dennie, Muncie, Mrs. Stephen (Linda) Jones, Port Charlotte, Fla., and Mrs. Jonathan (Anna K.) Plyler, Muskegon, Mich.; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Charles (BArbara) Smith and Phyllis Jones, both of Muncie, Mrs. John (Virginia) Ong, Warsaw, and Mrs. Roger (Shirley) Martin, Hohenwald, Tenn.; four stepsons, John, Tom, Larry and Jerry Morris, all of Muncie, and Dennis Morris, Warsaw; two brothers, Raymond Clines, Carlisle, and Allen Clines, Williams; a sister, Mrs. Bud (Zova) Lawrence, Middletown; 39 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
