The Old Genealogist (billpenn@swbell.net) wrote, "What source do you have for the birth year? I have 2 conflicting ones. The Wichita Beacon says he was 16 months old. His Death Certificate says 1m 4d."FamilySearch Family Tree has the date of birth as 1895 and the death as 27 May 1896. If the date of death is correct, then he could not have been only 1m 4d old because he is present in the 1895 Kansas State census, when he was reported to be 2 months old. The 1895 Kansas State census schedules enumerate all members of the household as of 1 March 1895, so Clarence should have been born in early January 1895. Then he would be 2m at the census and 16m at death.
