Melissa was the daugher of Albert Heath and Betsy Kellogg.
Melissa Jeannett's name in other records was Melissa Gennett Heath. She used the nickname of Nettie and also F. Jeannette according to her will.

Jeannett's home was a very large Victorian home, complete with a widow's walk. Adelbert ran his business downstairs, or a portion thereof. The house stands today on the Adams Center Five corners. It is currently a grocery store and meat market.
