CARLSBAD--Tommy Tucker Clements, 84, of Carlsbad , died Friday (Dec. 2, 1994) in Carlsbad.
Services, which were conducted by his daughter, son-in-law and grandsons, were held Monday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Phillip Royal officiating. He was cremated under the direction of Sunset Gardens Direct Cremation Service.
Clements was born April 11, 1910, to Malcolm and Ethel Tucker Clements in Telfair County, Ga. He moved to New Mexico in 1934 and settled in Carlsbad in 1935.
He married Ellen Ann Jameson Jan. 17, 1941, in Carlsbad. Her father performed the ceremony.
He was employed by West Funeral Home, the former U.S. Potash and Industrial Electric and was longtime employee of IMC Fertilizer.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carlsbad.
He is survived by his wife of Carlsbad; daughter, Mary Elizabeth (Whiz) Yarbro of Moses Lake, Wash.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
