LaFAYETTE - Mrs. Montine Day, 93, of LaFayette died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.
Funeral services are planned for Sunday, April 26 at 1 p.m. CDT at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette with the Revs. Bill Hand and Chris Anderson officiating.
Burial will follow at Marseilles Cemetery in West Point.
Mrs. Day is survived by her son, John (Janice) Lee Jr. of Villa Rica, Ga.; her daughter, Barbara (Brian) Niccum of Durango, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Day was born Sept. 13, 1915 in Chambers County. She retired from Valley National Bank after 30 years of service.
Mrs. Day was preceded in death by her husbands, John Lee Sr. and Olin Day. She was a member of LaFayette First Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. CDT at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette.
