Essie Lee Southall, of OKC, was born May 20, 1907 in Groom, TX. She went to be with our Lord on May 4, 1997 at age 89.
She is survived by her daughters, Pat Schuman, of OKC; and Betty Little and husband Spec, of McAlester, OK; grandchildren, Bill, Bob, Jim and Jack Schuman, Pam Kurtz, Harvey Little, and Sherre Land. Essie had 13 great grandchildren. Her husband Lewis preceded her in death and has waited over 40 years to hold his sweet wife's hand.
Essie was an avid supporter of Putnam City athletics and never missed her grandsons' ball games. She left a loving legacy and raised her family according to Proverbs 22.6. Graveside services will be 2 pm Tuesday, May 7 at Rose Hill Burial Park. (Gene Adams Funeral Home)
