Horace Elton Parker Jr.

He was the son of Horace Elton and Vera Mae Jones Parker. His parents are buried in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Horace served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a retired auto mechanics instruction. He shares a stone with his wife, Benita Irene Stephenson Parker. He was residing in Palestine, TX at the time of his death in a Tyler hospital. He was survived by his wife of Palestine; three daughters, Lillian Pack and Tomi Jan "Jan" Parker Cronk, both of Palestine, and Tammy Lynn Parker Kelly of Lenexa, KS; three sons, David Parker and Donnie Parker, both of Borger, and Stephen Elton Parker of Palestine; two sisters, Dorothy Burke of Conroe and Betty Anderson of Houston; a brother, Bob Parker of Bedford; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. His obituary was published in the Palestine Herald Press.
