Benita Irene Parker 77 of Bolivar Mo. formerly of Palestine Tx. passed away May 23, 2013. Benita was born November 9, 1935 to Benjamin and Irene(Counts)Stephenson in Borger Texas. Benita was united in marriage to Horace E. Parker, Jr. August 11, 1962 in Phoenix AZ. Benita was a member of First Baptist Church of Bolivar.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 33 years Horace, one son David Parker.
She is survived by five children, Jan Cronk and husband Bill of Palestine TX. Tammy Kelly ad husband Hal of Bolivar Mo. Stephen Parker and wife Jennifer of Olathe KS. Lillian Pack and husband Lewis of Cleburne TX. and Donnie Parker and wife Jane of Borger Tx. 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, two sisters, Toni Easton of Abuquerque NM Sue Reese of Ore City TX. and a daughter in law, Karla Parker of Borger TX. as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2p.m. Sunday June 2, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Bolivar with Rev. Billy Russell officiating. A memorial visitation will be held one hour before service from 1-2p.m. at the church. An additional memorial service will be held at 10a.m. Saturday June 8, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Palestine TX. with burial to follow at Roselawn Park Hwy 84 Palestine TX.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Share Your Christmas c/o Polk County Christia Social Minitries P.O. Box 254 Bolivar Mo. 65613.
