Charles Winford Powell

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today in the Valley Funeral Home chapel for Charles Powell, 810 Meyers Boulevard, who died Tuesday in Hoemako Hospital, Casa Grande. Services will be at 2 p.m Friday in the chapel. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Powell was born Nov. 11, 1917 in Texas. He had lived in Eloy 29 years. He had been in the grocery business for 27 years. He was retired.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth, of Eloy; his sons, Eddie, of Eloy, Donnie, of Chandler, Paul Ray, of Tempe, and Wayne, of Texas; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Powell, of Eloy; his brothers, Houston, of Eloy and Dennis, of California; his sisters, Flora Mae Prock, Bonnie Coyle, Lavada Burns, all of Eloy, Margie Wade, of Washington, Dorothy Thompson, of New Mexico; and seven grandchildren.
