Mary Ruth Powell, 82, of Mesa, and formerly of Eloy, died Jan. 13, 2005 at Odyssey Health Care.
The funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel in Eloy, with Pastor Alan Leach officiating.
Mrs. Powell was born Feb. 9, 1922. She enjoyed cooking and her family and was known for her sense of humor.
Survivors include four sons, Paul Ray Powell, of Mesa, Charles W. Powell, of Dallas, Gary D. Powell, of Gilbert and Eddie D. Powell of Casa Grande; a sister, Doris Fiddle, of Dallas; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W.; a son, Elvin Powell; a sister, Gertrude; and three brothers, Gene, Homer and Joe.
