RINGLING -- Services for G.B. Floyd, 80, will be at 2 p.m. at the Ringling Church of Christ with Roy Hannah officiating. Interment will be at Cornish Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
Floyd died June 9, 1999 in Ardmore. He was born Jan. 3, 1919, at Coleman, to William R. and Mary E. Titsworth Floyd.
He came to Cornish as a child and was a lifetime farmer and rancher.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Porter, Ardmore, and LaReta Howie, Mustang; a son, Gary; and sister, Eunice Stockton; and brother, Bill, all of Lawton; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Sam Porter, Dustin Sloan, Robert Wood, Robert, Randy and Mark Floyd.

Lillie Mae Harris was legally committed to the Cornish Children's Home in Ringling, Oklahoma. Her legal guardian, M. E. Harris, Manager of the Cornish Children's Home, wrote to the Waurika County Clerk requesting that a marriage license be issued to G. B. Floyd and Lillie Mae Harris, who was then seventeen years of age.G. B. Floyd's father, W. R. Floyd, also wrote a note requesting that a marriage license be issued to his son, who was then eighteen years of age.
