Sarah Lines

The evidence is that Sarah Lines, b. 1789, who married Samuel Owen, was the first born child of Benjamin Lines and Sarah Marlesbury. Sarah Ann Lines, b. 1819, who married Edward Osborne, was their last born (8th) child. I have not seen evidence that the older Sarah Lines had a middle name or confirmation of her date of birth or christening. She died in 1816, and it was common in those days to name a new child in honor of a deceased older sibling.
