Mrs. A. B. Hughes Dies At Home in Center
CENTER. Texas, July 11.— Mrs. A. B. Hughes, 66, native Shelby Countian, and member of one of the first families to settle in East Texas, died Friday night after an extended illness. Before marriage she was Sallie Davis. Survivors are her husband, six daughters, Mrs. Phenie Harris, Sinton; Mrs. Jeff Samford, Center; Mrs. Eunice Davison, Blythe, Calif.; Mrs. Nora Woods, Broaddus; Mrs. Leona Geaslin, Baytown; Mrs. Sybil Fonville, DeBerry, and five sons.
