Maurice "Bud" McCrea, 91, Monmouth, a former Klamath Falls resident, died March 11, 2005 in a residential care facility in Independence.
Mr. McCrea was born in Nebraska to John and Sada McCrea.
He was raised in Nebraska before moving in 1938 to Klamath Falls.
He he worked at logging with C.T. George Logging and later as a fishing guide on the Rogue River in Agnes.
He had many jobs during his lifetime until retiring in 1975.
Mr. McCrea moved to Monmouth in 1997.
Fishing and hunting were among his interests.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Klamath Falls.
Survivors include his sons, John D. McCrea of Caldwell, Idaho, Michael H. McCrea of Portland, Jerry L. McCrea of Monmouth, and Robert A. McCrea of Libby, Mont.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
