BIRTH: November 10, 1949, in Steubenville, Jefferson County, Ohio, to Doris Grace VanWey Russell and and Ronald Russell.
EDUCATION: In Ohio and Alaska. Graduate, 1991, Mesa State College as a Registered Nurse.
EMPLOYMENT: Nurse at the Grand Junction Regional Center until her Retirement om 2007.
MILITARY: United States Army.
MARRIAGE: Bobby Glen Jackson.
PASTIMES: Spending time with family, especially grandchildren, boating especially at Lake Powell, camping, cooking and crocheting.
PRECEDED IN DEATH by parents, her husband of 38 years, and her brother John Russell.
AMONG SURVIVORS: Three daughters Sabrena Jackson, Kristina Haws-Jackson (Kelly), Jessica Morris (Bobby), eleven grandchildren Christopher, Amanda (James), Patricia (Lucas), Melissa (Joey), Aaron, Kelsey, Kylee, Jackson (Bubby), Makayley, Kayden, Adalynn, and one on the way, seven great-grandchildren, three brothers Adam Russell, Benjamin Russell, Ronald Russell, two sisters Mary Saulnier (Michael), and Ruthie Helman (Eldon), and Uncle Carl VanWey (Mary).
VISITATION: 6 to 8PM Thursday, July 21, 2016, at CAllahan-Edfast Mortuary.
SERVICES: 11AM, Friday, July 22, 2016, at the mortuary.
INTERMENT: 1PM, Friday, at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
