Burial
"The LaFayette Sun" - June 7, 1905:Fire at Chapel Hill.
Last Friday morning about 10:30 o’clock it was discovered that the dwelling of Mr. Byron Wilson, of Chapel Hill, was on fire. An effort was made to extinguish the flames, but the fire had gained too much headway, and what had once been an elegant home was soon a mere pile of smoking timbers and ashes. The fire was caused by a defective stove flue.
We understand the house was insured for $1,000.
