"The LaFayette Sun" - March 27, 1912: A Tribute of Love.
On December fifth 1911, Mollie Finney died at the old homestead at Chapel Hill. She left a brother, three children, many friends and relatives to mourn her death. She was a loving sister, devoted mother, kind and affable to her many friends, whom she always met with a smile. Now dear friends and relatives, do not grieve for when the time shall come for you and me to pass over the dark river of death. Dear Mollie will be waiting and watching at the beautiful gate for the loved ones behind. Here some sweet day by and by at God’s own appointed time may there be a complete reunion of the entire family around the throne of God.
