Harrry and Hazel’s son, Eugene W. Wilson, was born in Nebraska about December 1927. The evidence for this date of birth is in the 1930 census at Nenzel, Cherry County, Nebraska, which was done in April 1930. In that census Eugene W. Wilson was said to be 2 years and 4 months old, which would mean that he was born in December 1927. He also was counted twice in the 1940 census: First on 3 Apr 1940 in Buckley, Pierce County, Washington, living with his paternal grandparents, and second on 18 Apr 1940 in Chenowith, Skamania County, Washington, living with his father and stepmother, Ruth M. Hutton.

Another Eugene W. Wilson married Burlie Tucker on 28 Feb 1949 in Vancouver, Clark County, Washington.

The Eugene W. Wilson who married Burlie Tucker died on 26 Nov 1967 in Multnomah County, Oregon. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VZWW-YV7
He was born 27 Sep 1888 in Arkansas. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:V3ZS-SYS
Because of the large difference between the two birth places and dates, Nebraska 1927 and Arkansas 1888, it seems that these are two different Eugene W. Wilsons, and the one who married Burlie Tucker was not the son of Harry Clyde Wilson and Hazel Carr.

Hello T,
It looks like you use the www.familysearch.org website a lot in your research.

When I told you I had found names of 3 women who had married a man named Eugene W. Wilson, I just chose one of those names, without doing any further research. There were actually 4 women's names who married a man listed as Eugene W. Wilson, one starting when Eugene would have been about age 18 or 19. There were several other men named Eugene Wilson, without any middle name or initial.

Were you able to find the website for the Washington State Archives - Digital Archives?
https://www.digitalarchives.wa.gov/
If not, here are the names of the other 3 brides, dates and places. I haven't done any further research on any of the following:

Clark County:
17 May 1952, M. Imogene Dahl

Statewide:
26 July 1974, Blanca A (Lopez) Layne. [No image available to identify the actual location.]

King County:
It showed Eugene W. Wilson, of U. S. Navy, married Lois Mae Rhoades, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, in Seattle Washington, 21 Apr. 1945.

There are two services offered by libraries, usually the larger public libraries in an area that are very usefull for us family researchers. One is called "Ask A Librarian" and the other is the inter library loan option. If you find a book about your family, it is possible a public library or even a college or university might have a copy and would loan it to you through your local library. Your library can find where the book is located and then contact the library to see if they would loan it to you. The home page of many libraries have a way to contact them and ask a question. It is called "Ask A Librarian." I've used it to request a look up and copy of newspaper stories or obituaries. I always ask first what they would charge to do the research and send me a copy via an email attachment. These are great tools and I've had good success with both of them. I've also contacted genealogical and historical societies in the counties where my ancestors have lived. They sometimes have file folders or information typed or written on cards about families in the area. This has also been a good source for me, but genealogical and historical societies usually charge much more than public libraries, $20 or more per half hour of research.
