Clarence Eugene "Gene" Pope

A full Military Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Point Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Lone Star Cemetery. Bro.Roy Marta and Bro. Billy Smith will officiate. Pallbearers will be the military honor guards.
Visitation is 6-8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Point Baptist Church.
Services are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mr. Pope was born in Point, February 6, 1933, to Robert T. and Laura Dunnivan Pope.
Gene married La Delma Mae Jenkins on April 17, 1993 in Point.
Mr. Pope served 21 years in the Army serving in the Korean and Viteman Wars. He received two Purple Heart Awards, one in while in the Korean War and the other during the Vietnam War.
