Winnie Lucile Newsom

After the death of our Dad we lived in East Texas and after a while Mother remarried. She married Alford Crump. This lasted for several years, he was in and out of our lives, he like all the women lol. They divorced and she did not even think of another marriage for a long time until she met Bob Jennings. She fell in love with him and his beautiful blue eyes. They dated several years and were married. They lived in Grand Prairie for many years and then he retired from LTV and they moved to East Texas. They lived there several years and that is where she passed away, at home. I remember her working for 35 cents an hour to make our living. She deserves the acknowledgement for the achievements of her life and the struggle of being a single parent when "women weren't allowed to do so many things", She had a third grade education however she was a very smart person and self taught on many things.
