Surviving her are a sister, Mrs. Grace Maurer, and a niece, Mrs. Robert Watt, both of city.
Miss Beatty was born in Roodhouse, and had been a resident of Springfield since was seven years old.
She was a graduate of Springfield High school and Illinois Business college.
She belonged to St. Agnes Altar and Rosary society and the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters.
She had formerly been employed by the Ridgely-Farmers State bank, and in the office of the collector of internal revenue.
