Georgia Ellen Burton

Ellen Georgia Burton Greer Russell, 90, of 116 Glendale Road, died Friday, October 6, 2006.
Surviving are four sons, Dallas B. Greer, William W. Greer, and Larry E. Greer, all of Anderson, and John L. Greer of Milledgeville, GA; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She was twice married, first to the late William Dallas Greer and second to the late Joe William Russell. She was the daughter of the late John and Ella Mitchell Burton and was preceded in death by a son, James Franklin Greer, a daughter, Linda L. Greer, and two brothers, Ralph and Edward Burton.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson.
Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
