DOROTHY HOOKER FIELD Mrs. Field, 70 years old of 4501 South Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, died Sunday, October 18th at Memorial Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina after an extended illness. Born in Nokesville, Virginia, Mrs. Field had been a resident of West Palm Beach since 1939 coming here from Belle Glade, Florida. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach. Mrs. Field was a graduate of Stetson University, Class of 1938 and was a member of PI Phi Sorority at Stetson and a member of the P.E.O. of West Palm Beach. Survivors include her husband, W. Julian Field of West Palm Beach; a daughter, Mrs. Karen Field Hieronymus and a grandson, Nicholas Field Hieronymus, both of Nashville, Tennessee. Also surviving are two brothers, John Hooker and Robert Hooker, both of Belle Glade; five sisters, Mrs. Ruth Garner, Nokesville, Virginia, Mrs. Margaret Mosley, Mrs. Nancy Creech and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Roth, all of Belle Glade, Florida and Mrs. Jean Lloyd. Arcadia, Florida. Additional survivors Include forty-five nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 10AM on Thursday, October 22nd at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Jack N. Graham, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to the Palm Beach Chapter of the Leukemia Society of America, 324 Datura Street, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401 or to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Chruch, 1101 South Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401.
