HOLLANDALE - Funeral services for Ruby Estelle Mosley, 81, of Hollandale, a homemaker, were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hollandale Baptist Church. She died March 23, 2006, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial was in Hollandale Cemetery, under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.

She was born in Thomasville, Ala., where she received her education. She had been a resident of Washington County since 1940 where she was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan and a member of the Hollandale Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doss and Belle Rivers McDonald; a sister, Euttia McDonald Bagley; and three brothers, Dovie McDonald, Vernon McDonald and Jessie McDonald.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Waymond E. "Pop" Mosley of Hollandale; two daughters, Lovelia M. Greer and husband, Bob, of Cummins, Ga., and Cheryl M. Holly and husband, Ben, of Owensboro, Ky.; two sons, Robert Mosley and wife, Michelle, of Hollandale and Waymond Mosley Jr. and wife, Wanda, of Clinton; two sisters, Annie Belle Goodman of Jackson, Ala., and Willie Mae Wilson of Arlington, Texas; a granddaughter, Robyn M. Gee; six grandsons, Michael Mosley, Brooks Mosley and wife, April, Joey Greer, Kevin Greer, Bruce Holly and Christopher Holly; two great-granddaughters, Kendall Greer and Abby Mosley; and two great-grandsons, Garrett Gee and Remington Gee.

The family received friends Saturday at Hollandale Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hollandale Baptist Church.
