BELTON – Joe Glenn Greer, 57, of 418 Youth Center Rd., passed away September 12, 2011 at the MUSC.
Born in Greenville County, he was a son of Joseph Glenn Greer of Easley and the late Lucille Smith Greer Shelton. He was formerly employed with Van Dorn Demag Corporation.
Surviving are daughters, Allison Staton of Pelzer, Susan Egger of Bavaria, Germany, Sheila Marie Greer of Spartanburg; brothers, Steve Evatt of Williamston, Charles Greer of Moore; sisters, Leann Greer Gomez of Greenville, David Greer of Greer, Joseph Greer of Easley; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda JoAnn Fortner.
The family will receive friends 2-4pm Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
Funeral services will follow at 4 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Pine Lawn Cemetery, Pelzer.
