Kate Fair Ledbetter, 90, died Aug. 18, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle. Services are Monday at Calvary Baptist Church in Macon with Larry Corder and Greg Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Macon. Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home in Macon. 

Mrs. Ledbetter was born Aug. 24, 1920, in Gordo, Ala., to the late Arthur Green and Trinnie Bell Moss Fair. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Strickland and Mary Williams; brothers, Jessie, Laverne, B.B., Howard and Avery Fair. 

She is survived by her husband, Houston L. Ledbetter; daughter, Gloria Tidwell of Petal; sons, Calvin L. Ledbetter of Pensacola, Fla., and Jerry G. Ledbetter of Aberdeen; sister, Lucille Boswell of Macon; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
