Edith M. Craigmile, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis E. Wilson, was born at the farm home of her parents near Tarkio, Missouri, August 15, 1883. She attended the rural Schools and grew to womanhood in the Tarkio area. Early in life she became a member of the Baptist Church.

February 24, 10-4 she was united in marriage to Harry J. Craigmile at Fairfax, Missouri. They resided on a Missouri farm until they 1907, at which time they purchased a farm in the Vliets, Kansas area and moved there to make their home. Her husband passed away September 24, 1944.

In November, 1945, Mrs. Craigmile moved to Frankfort to make her home. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Mrs. Craigmile was a good and faithful neighbor and extended many kindnesses to her friends. She leaves to mourn her passing several nieces and nephews in California and Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Wilson and sons of Vliets, and her many friends of the community.

The funeral services were held in the Padden Chapel, Sunday, September 26, at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend C.L. Gifford officiating.

Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Kansas.
