Rose Grady, 75, Angola, died Monday, Feb. 8 at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Dec. 22, 1917 in Otsego Township to Christopher and Hannah Beebe Petre.
Mrs. Grady retired from Union 76 Truck Stop where she had been a cook. She was a member and receptionist for the Steuben County American Red Cross. She also belonged to the Pleasant View Church of Christ.
Surviving are one daughter, Rose Marie Beckwith of Montpelier, Ohio; one step-daughter, Betty Petre of Angola; one brother, Burton Christopher Petre of Hamilton; six sisters, Katherine Alleshouse of Hamilton, Nellie Winebrenner, Patricia Coffey and Bonnie Pinkham, all of Angola, Jane Hopkins of Edon, Ohio, and Donna King of Pleasant Lake; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, in 1971 and one brother, Basil.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11 at Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, with Todd Hudson officiating. Calling hours are 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in South Scott Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Steuben County American Red Cross.
