Thomas Loving

Charlie Migginson Forsyth (1877 - 1972) gave this information to Coye Stringfellow Head when she was assembling her DAR application. Charles was the son of Thomas Loving, born in 1610, and came to America in 1638. Thomas was surveyor general of Virginia, a member of the House of Burgesses in 1644, 1657 and 1658. Thomas and family lived in Martins Hundred, VA and was a merchant. Thomas married Elizabeth Kingston Oct, 1639 and had three children, Charles, Ann and Edward. Thomas died in 1665 or '66.
