Obituary:
Aridas - Christopher J., Rev. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Ordained priest of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, NY, on May 26, 1973. He served as an Associate Pastor at St. Edward Confessor, Syosset from 1973-1979. From 1979 to 1981 he served as an Associate Pastor at St. Thomas More, Hauppauge and later at Our Lady Grace, West Islip from 1981-1982. He served as the Director of Charismatic Renewal Office from 1982 - 1992. From 1992 - 2010 he served as Pastor at St. Margaret of Scotland, Selden.

Father Aridas was Pastor of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Centereach, NY, from 2010 until 2019 where he continued to serve in retirement. Wake Monday, February 7, 2022, from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Vigil Mass Monday, February 7, 2022, at 7:30 PM, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Church. Funeral Mass Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 11:00 AM, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
