Christopher Costas, 62, of Bloomington, died Saturday at Bloomington Hospital.Born May 9, 1935, in Bloomington, he was the son of George and Katigo (Lambros) Costas. He had taught in the Indianapolis Public Schools. He was a graduate of Indiana University where he received bachelor and master's degrees. He was of the Greek Orthodox faith.
Survivors include one brother, John Costas of Bloomington; two sisters, Georgia Costas-Kneese of Alexandria, Va., and Nitsa Costas-Williams of Hartsdale, N.Y.; and two nieces.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at Allen Funeral Home with Father Athanasius Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Friends may call one hour prior to services today at the funeral home.
