Obituary

Obituary: Nicholas P. Morfogenis
Nicholas P. Morfogenis, 65, an Ossining attorney, died Wednesday at Northern Westchester Hospital, Mount Kisco, after a long illness. He had lived at 49 Spring Valley Road. Mr. Morfogenis, a graduate of New York University Law School, was on the staff at the Kings County Supreme Court as well as maintaining a private practice. He had been a corrections officer at Sing Sing Prison before entering the service during World War II. He was born in Brooklyn, Oct. 18, 1914, a son of Peter and Elizabeth Morfogenis. Mr. Morfogenis was a member of the American Legion Post 506, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Greek-American Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Keene of the home address; four sisters: Mrs. Mary Kakouras of Queens, Mrs. Ann Kallerges of Brooklyn, Mrs. Constance Reese of Carson City, Nev., and Mrs. Vera Zambalis of Holllywood, Fla. and a brother, George, of Mineola, N.Y.
