I, Peter Perros, a naturalized and legal citizen of the United States, hereby apply to the Department of State at Washington, DC accompanied by my wife, Christine and my sons, George, James, Mamos (married 1912).
I solemnly swear that I was born at Greece on January 1, 1878, that my father, George Perros, was born in Greece and is now deceased; that I emigrated to the US, sailing from Pallus, Greece about 1901, that I resided 21 years, uninterruptedly, in the U.S. about from 1901 to 1923 at Cumberland, Md., that I naturalized as a citizen of the US before the Circuit Court of Alleghany County, Cumberland, Md. on March 20, 1922...
and that I am domiciled in the US, my permanent residence being at Washington, D.C. where I follow the occupation of ---, my last passport was obtained from none...
I am about to go abroad temporarily and intend to return to the US within 6 months...
I desire a passport for use in visiting countries hereinafter named for the following purpose:
Greece, France, Switzerland, Italy - visit relatives and travel.
I intend to leave the US from the port of New York sailing on board the [not named] on Sept. 8, 1923.
