Letter from Barbara Minakakis, Dec. 18, 2006: "Our Christmas will be a sad one this year -- Aunt Alice died late Friday night [December 15] after her brave, long fight against cancer. Her quality of liffe was a good one until only recently, and she p assed away quietly, still in control, still gracious. She wanted to fall asleep, and did, but we will miss her terribly."

Buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with parents and sister, Helen, in Lot 8185, Section N, Grave 2. Also with husband, Basil, and sister Frieda and husband, Nicholas Minakakis. We have photo, Jan. 2007.

Reposing at Dahill Funeral Home 2525 65th St. Brooklyn until Wednesday 10:30am. Funeral service at SS Constantine & Helen G.O. Church, 64 Schermerhorn St. Brooklyn 11:30am. Visiting hours Monday-Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
