I was born in Sparta Greece on the 20 day of December 1892. I now reside at 614 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. I emigrated to the US from Gytheion Greece on the vessel Patria. my last foreign residence was Sparta, Greece. I am married; the name of my wife is Jean; she was born at Greece and now resides at 614 Atlantic Avenue...renounce allegiance to the present government of Greece; I arrived at the Port of New York on or about the 23 day of April 1911....

The petition of William Diplarakos
First. My place of residence is 614 Atlantic Ave., Brooklyn
Second. My occupation is cook.
Third. I was born on 20 day of December 1892 at Sparta, Greece
Fourth. I emigrated to the US from Gethian, Greece on or about the 3 day of April 1911, and arrived in US at the port of NY on 24 April 1911 on the vessel Patris.
Fifth. I declared my intention to become a citizen of the US on 20 day of March 1923 at Brooklyn, NY in the Supreme Court of Kings Co.
Sixth. I am married. My wife's name is Jennie. She was born on the 13 day of April 1896 at Greece and now resides at with me. I have 3 children:
George born April 20, 1920 at Brooklyn and resides with me
James born Aug. 19, 1921 "
Leone born March 11, 1923 "
Seventh. ...renounce allegiance to the present government of Greece.
Eighth. I am able to speak the English language.
Ninth. I have resided continuously in the US for the term of five years... since the 24 day of April 1911, and in the state of NY...since the 24 day of April 1911.
Tenth. I have not heretofore made petition for citizenship to any court.
