Dated July 8, 1954. Newspaper unknown but probably the Johnston CityProgress.
Mrs. Susie Sowell, a former resident of this city, died Wednesday noonat
the home of her daughter Mrs. Dorothy Stenstrom in West Palm Beach,Fla.
She is a sister of Birt Peterson of West 8th street and the daughterof
Mrs. Lon Peterson of 235 N.E. 15th Terrace, Miami, Fla.
Mrs. Sowell had been ill for the past two years. Her husband, J.R.Sowell
passed away about a year ago. Mr. and Mrs. Sowell made their home here
until about eight years ago when the moved to Florida.
Surviving her are her daughter and mother, and four brothers, John,Ben and
Frank Peterson of Florida and Birt of this city. A grandson alsosurvives.
Funeral services will be held in Florida with burial at West PalmBeach.
