Austin says re her second husband, Joshua Paine: "son of Thomas andHannah (Shaw) Paine, a desc. of Pilgrim Stephen Hopkins and a firstcousin of wife Constance; she had six children (PAINE) by her secondhusband [see no. 161 for this family].
The Canterbury Church marriage rec. of William and Constance callshim "son to Uriah Baker" but that reference is apparently scrivener'serror, for the name Uriah Baker appears nowhere else in Canterburyrecs. The marriage rec. calls her dau. of "Alisha.""
