He served on the faculties of the Medical University of South Carolina, the University of Minnesota Medical School, The Medical College of Wisconsin, where he was Director of Residency Training in the Department of Psychiatry, and Bowman Gray Medical School. Dr. Marcotte was a lifetime fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.

His contributions to the field of psychiatry -- and to the lives of those he treated and loved are without measure.
