Individual Details
James LIVINGSTON
(Abt 1763 - 29 Apr 1829 - 1 Jun 1830)
1790, Mifflin Co., PA, James Levingston, head:
1 m 16 and over (Bef 1774) [James b 1763]
4 females [wife and 3 eldest daughters all b. before 1790]
1800, Muncy, Lycoming Co., PA, James Levingston, head:
1 m 45 and over (Bef 1755)
1 f 26-44 (1755-1774) [James b 1763]
1 m 26 - 44 [Elizabeth b 1759]
1 f 16-25 (1774-1784) [Mary Magdalen b 1782]
1 f 10-15 (1784-1790) [Ann b 1785]
4 m under 10 (1790-1800) [Aaron 1791; Isaiah 1792; James 1794;
Thomas 1798]
1 f under 10 [Elizabeth b 1789]
Is this the right family? This is what most trees show. If either James or Elizabeth's father was living with them, this fits.
1810, Ferguson, Centre Co., PA, Jas. Levinston, head:
1 m over 45 (Bef 1765) [James b 1763]
1 f over 45 [Elizabeth b 1759]
2 m 16-25 (1784-1794) [Aaron b 1791 and Isaiah b. 1792]
2 m 10-15 (1794-1800) [James b 1794 and Thomas b 1798]
1 f under 10 (1800-1810) [Tamar b 1801]
Donnadeane had 29 Apr 1829 for death and IGI has Mar 1831. Showing both until correct information can be documented.
Elizabeth was head of household, with nobody else with her, in 1830. There was also nobody living with son, James. Am now estimating death by June 1, 1830, the official date of that census. In looking at the 1820 census, there was no male of an age to be James, b. 1763. If he was still living, where was he? Did he live to go to Ohio?
One tree at ancestry 13 Apr 2015 shows he died 1829 and is buried at Quaker Cemetery, Warren Co., OH. Source is another tree. Same says died 29 Apr 1829.
Tree, with whom I have a DNA match, says he was born Ulster, Ireland.
