Charles T. JONES the subject of this sketch, was born on Feb. 20, 1842in the state of Tennessee, and removed to Cedar county, Mo., more thanthirty years ago where he remained until his death on March 6, 1903 Inearly manhood he was united in marriage with Miss Mary O'NEIL, whostill survives. Of this union ten children were born, seven ofwhom--five daughters and two sons are left to mourn their loss, allbeing present at the death of their parent. Deceased was convertedabout thirty five years ago and united with the Baptist church, andremained faithful until the time of his death. Besides the immediatefamily many friends are left to mourn the loss of a neighbor who wasalways kind and helpful in time of need. Funeral services conducted byRe. Jos. SAMPSEL, were held at Lindley Prairie church on Sunday March8, 1903 (newspaper and date unknown)
