Admitted freeman in 1654; No dates were given for the marriages, justnames. He settled at Mefield, Mass., and was Selectman of that townfor many years; was a Representative in the first two General Courtsheld in 1689, after the oaverthrow of Andros, and died November 12,1716l. He left a will, dated May 19, 1715, proved December 3, 1716,recorded in Probate Rrecords of Sullolk County, Mass., in vol. xix.page 225. He had fourteen children, as follows, viz.: Lydia, born July12, 1653; Jonathan, born April 4, 1655; John, born February 18, 1657;Eliashib, born February 18, 1659; Sarah, born May 29, 1660; James,born January 4, 1662; Henry, born October 29, 1663; Mehitable, bornMarch 20, 1665; Elisha, born August 25, 1666; Edward, born June 28,1668; Bethia,, born April 12, 1671; Bethia again, born August 18,1672; Abigal, born January 25, 1675; and Miriam, born February 26,1676.
The book did not cite which children belonged to which wives.
