In a conversation 18 Sep 2008 with Barbara Fridlund, she remembered that Elsie had a son Dan M. Phipps who lived on Lotus Way in Porterville in 1994. He was a member of a marketing group that Barbara was in. Barbara knew nothing of Dan's father or when Elsie was married to him and also didn't know the name of Elsie's Swift husband. She never knew him and thought she must have died before Elsie moved back to Porterville. Elsie was living in Porterville at the time of Everett and Bessie Duncan's 50th wedding anniversary and did attend the party for them. A photo of her with Everett at that party is in my possession.
This is a possibility for that Dan - probably not Elsie's son. I did find him on Lotas in the mid 1990s, as Dan M. Phipps.
