WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Doris Elaine Stager of Winter Haven died ofcancer Saturday (Oct. 22, 2005) at Good Shepherd Hospice inAuburndale. She was 82.
Born in Darke County, Ohio, on Dec. 3, 1922, she came to Winter Havenfrom West Milton, Ohio, in 1972. She worked in merchandising atCypress Gardens. She was a member of the United Church of Christ.
Mrs. Stager was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Stager. Sheis survived by her sons, Rodney L. McDowell, Winter Haven, Monte K.McDowell, West Milton, Ohio, Gary T. McDowell, Dayton, Ohio; brother,Cleon Condon, Arcanum, Ohio; six grandchildren; 10great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American CancerSociety.
