"Lucille Landers, 90, of Hot Springs, Ark., and formerly of Troy and Darke County, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002 in Hot Springs, Ark.
She was born Oct. 10, 1911 in Darke County to the late George and Esther Horner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, O. Fran Landers in 1983; three children; two brothers; five sisters; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert and Nancy Landers of Hot Springs, Ark. and Jerry Landers of Troy; two daughters, Dorothy Smith and Mary Newman, both of Hot Springs, Ark.; one brother, Harry Horner of Greenville; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Charity Heights Baptist Church in Hot Springs, Ark., and a member of the Troy Grandmothers Club No. 369.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2002 in the Fischer-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Interment will be in Gettysburg Cemetery in Darke County.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002 at the funeral home."
