"Death Claims Former Tipton Township Man - Services for Edgar K.Britton, 59, Indianapolis, native of Walton and former Onwardresident, who died Sunday at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, will beheld at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fenn funeral home, Kokomo. Burial willbe in Memorial Park cemetery there with Masonic rites.
His death followed a short illness with a heart ailment.
Born August 10, 1896, at Walton, to C. M. and Hannah C. (Sprinkle)Britton, he lived near Onward for many years before going to Kokomo in1937. He later moved to Indianapolis, where he operated a drive-inrestaurant.
He was married Dec. 17, 1915, to Mary McDonald [sic], who surviveswith a son, John K., of Kokomo; three daughters, Mrs. Fred Moss ofKokomom, and Mrs. Robert Stevens and Mrs. Berkley Peck, both ofIndianapolis; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Charles and M. L.Britton, both of Peru; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Fenn funeral home."
