According to Mary Kegley, in Zion Church annotated records, he lived in Carter County (now Johnson Co.), Tennessee (where his wife's parents lived), and moved about 1840 to Putnam Co., IN, later moving to Pike Co., IL, prior to 1850. He also lived in Davis Co., IA and Clay Co., Jackson Co., and Wabunsee Co., Kansas.
