Samuel FOLKERTH
(6 Feb 1778 - 6 Feb 1858)
Susanna Warner b. 6 Jan 1791, d. 6 Sep 1825, married Samuel Folkerth, b. 6 Feb 1778, d. 6 Feb 1858. He remarried to Ann, b. abt 1795. No record of children by first marriage, but Ann had a son, Samuel who married Martha Kuhns. The following is from a newspaper column entitled "Our Forefathers" written by Lindsay Brien and donated to the Multnomah County Library (Portland, Oregon) in November 1940.

In memory of Henrich (Henry) Warner and Susannah Warner
Henry and Susannah Warner W/9 of their children and there families
migrated to this vicinity from Bedford Co Pa. in 1811-1812 The Warner
clan settled on the North Side of what is now the Sweet Potato Ridge Road
between St Rt 48 and Diamond Mill Road Henry was a revolutionary war
